Hi, I'm Chris Bartlett
I’m a Wisconsin photographer with more than 15 years of experience behind the camera. Much of my career has been spent in commercial video & photography, creating lifestyle and product imagery for brands, but I’ve always been equally inspired by people, places, and the stories that make them unique. My personal work has been featured in several exhibitions celebrating the landscape and beauty of Wisconsin’s Chippewa Valley, a place I continue to find inspiration in throughout all four seasons. Whether I’m photographing a wedding, portrait, or landscape, my goal is to create images that feel natural, expressive, and true to the subject in them. I’m especially drawn to movement, personality, and narrative, and I work to create an environment where those qualities can come through naturally.

Tucked into the forests of Wisconsin’s Chippewa Valley, The Thicket is more than a backdrop, it’s a place to wander, move, celebrate, and create photographs that feel alive. I’ve spent more than 15 years photographing people, products, landscapes, and stories, and that experience has shaped a simple philosophy: the best images happen when people have the freedom to be themselves. Among the trees, along the creek, and through every Wisconsin season, I’m looking for honest expressions, real connection, and photographs that tell a story long after the moment has passed.
